Phil joined the family business in 1978 following his graduation from The University of Virginia and four years of service in the United States Marine Corps as a computer officer. He earned the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1988. Phil resides on and manages his family’s farms. He is a current director of the Fayette County Farm Bureau, and is a former President of the Fayette County Cattlemen’s Association. He specializes in Farm Insurance, Horse Mortality, Personal Lines, and Business insurance. As a business owner and farmer, Phil recognizes how important it is to have the broadest coverage to suit one’s needs. When he’s not farming or at the office, Phil enjoys tennis, biking and running. |

Bill is a Lexington native, graduating from Henry Clay High School and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Following his college graduation, Bill gained valuable insurance experience by working as an underwriter for two regional insurance companies. Bill began his tenure at Bohannon-Meyer in 1983 and became a partner five years later. He earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1989. His areas of specialty are both Commercial and Personal Lines. As the father of three, he understands the need to protect one’s family and to make insurance dollars go as far as possible. In his spare time, Bill is an avid tennis player. |

Pat Simounet, Agent, CISR
Pat moved to Lexington in 1998 and has been with Bohannon-Meyer since 2003. Prior to joining the agency, Pat worked for Ohio Casualty Insurance for 4 years as a Commercial Lines rater. She has her Property & Casualty agent’s license and recently completed her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Rep) designation. Pat has expertise in both personal and commercial insurance.

Sheila Wade, CSR
Sheila has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She graduated from Woodford County High School and attended the University of Kentucky. After 6years in State Government, she came to work at Bohannon-Meyer Insurance in 1978, focusing on Commercial, Farm and Equine accounts as a customer service representative. She currently spends most of her time with policy processing and office management but is always available to help customers with any questions or concerns. Sheila is a native of Woodford County and resides with her husband, Bob, on a 100 acre farm in the community of Pinckard, where they raise registered Belted Galloway cattle.

Shirley Dunn, Retired Agent, CSR
When the Ernest McWilliams Insurance Agency was acquired by Bohannon-Meyer in 1998, Shirley Dunn, a 40-year employee of that agency, came to work for Bohannon-Meyer. She remains a valuable part of our team working part-time, primarily with Home and Automobile insurance. As a life-long resident of Versailles, Shirley is an integral part of our personal, friendly touch.

Jan Meyer, Accounting
Jan has been with Bohannon-Meyer since the early 1980’s and is married to Phil. She handles all the accounting for the agency and covers other positions as needed. She is also a talented interior designer and is currently on the Lexington/Fayette County Board of Adjustments. Jan is an avid gardener and nurtures our signature geraniums that you see in our front window.

Kelly Logan, Agent, CISR
Kelly came to Bohannon-Meyer in 2005. She has worked in insurance for over 25 years, including 16 years with Ohio Casualty Insurance. She handles personal lines and commercial accounts and recently obtained her “Certified Insurance Service Representative” (CISR) designation. Kelly is a long time resident of Woodford County and her husband is a lifelong resident. She has two children who attend Woodford County schools.
